Wayne joined Tata Capital Markets in 2011 to set up its Investment Banking operations in Singapore. Prior to joining Tata Capital, Wayne was an Associate Director with AmFraser Securities where he was one of the key persons to set up the Corporate Finance business and is instrumental to its success.
Wayne has over 14 years of experience in the Corporate Finance industry in Singapore, and has successfully brought to the market exceeding US$4.0 billion in value of securities through various IPOs, M&As and Equity Capital Market transactions. Notable deals include:
- - Financial Advisor to Swiber Holdings on its disposal of Kreuz Holdings to Headland Capital Partners (US$355m)
- - Financial Advisor to Centurion Investment Management on its trade sale of TES Envirocorp to Navis Capital (US$165m)
- - Financial Advisor to See Hup Seng Limited on its acquisition of Hetat Holdings (US$35m)
- - Placement Agent to Vallianz Holdings Limited which raised US$40m in new placement shares and US$10m in convertible preference shares
- - IPOs including Global Palm Resources (market capitalisation of US$165m), Midsouth Holdings (US$135m), Advanced Integrated Manufacturing (US$110m), Adampak (US$30m)
Wayne holds a MSc in Financial Economics from Cardiff University, U.K. and a Bachelor of Business from Nanyang Technological University. Wayne is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst ("CAIA") and sits on the board of the Executive Committee (Treasurer) of CAIA Association, Singapore Charter. Wayne has also attended the Tata Group Executive Leadership Program administered by Ross School of Business, University of Michigan.
Foo Say Nam
Senior Vice President - Corporate Finance
Say Nam has over 9 years of experience in the investment banking industry where he has advised on public listings, corporate advisory and secondary fund raising exercises. Prior to joining Tata Capital Markets in 2012, he had held positions at various established financial institutions, including Hong Leong Finance, Phillip Securities and SBI E2-Capital. Say Nam has advised on both primary and secondary fund raising deals and had also completed several corporate advisory projects in the capacity of an Independent Financial Adviser. Say Nam started his career with the Singapore Exchange Limited where he was involved in regulatory and compliance work, including the review of new & additional listing applications and circulars from listed companies, as well as monitoring of listed companies compliance with the Listing Rules.
Say Nam graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) degree from the National University of Singapore and is a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).
Assistant Vice President - Compliance
Hilda has over 5 years of experience in the field of compliance and corporate finance in the financial industry. Prior to joining Tata Capital Markets in 2014, she was with the Singapore Exchange (SGX) regulating SGX-ST listed companies in respect of their compliance with Listing Rules and providing compliance advisory to them. For the admission of IPOs on the SGX, Hilda had critically reviewed various applications, particularly from REITs, property BTs and companies with businesses in consumer goods, heavy manufacturing or property, with a view on assessing dealbreaker issues, major risk areas and disclosures issues. Hilda closely monitored and oversaw a portfolio of more than 40 SGX-ST Mainboard listed issuers, providing guidance and clarity on the application of the Listing Rules as well as review of various types of corporate actions. She has also handled major listing rules investigation cases which involved special audits, public reprimands and court action. Hilda was secretariat for the Singapore Corporate Awards (SCA) Main Committee and representative of SGX on the judging panel for the SCA annual reports award between 2012 and 2013.
Hilda graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the National University of Singapore.
Associate Vice President - Corporate Finance
Jay has 5 years of experience in investment banking where he has advised on cross border M&A, JVs and fund raising deals. Prior to joining Tata Capital Markets in 2014, he has been associated with companies such as Tata Securities, Tethys Ventures (Singapore), India Advisory Partners. Jay has been involved in deals involving Japanese, European, ASEAN and Indian companies in sectors such as data centers, advertising, auto components, engineering, personal and home care, food and beverages amongst other sectors. He started his career with Aarayaa Advisory Services where he was involved in various corporate finance deals across sectors such as hospitals, medical diagnostic centers, medical devices, facilities management, captive BPOs and telecom sectors in India and globally.
Jay is an Electronics & Telecommunications engineer from Watumull Institute, Mumbai, MBA in Finance from Sydenham Institute of Management, Mumbai and has also completed all three levels of the international CFA.

Xinyi has over 4 years of experience in the investment banking industry where she has advised on public listings, corporate advisory and fund raising exercises. Prior to joining Tata Capital Markets in 2014, she held positions at established financial institutions, including Hong Leong Finance and Stirling Coleman Capital. Xinyi has successfully advised the IPO / RTO of several SGX-listed companies. Xinyi has also advised on both primary and secondary fund raising deals and had completed several corporate advisory projects in the capacity of an Independent Financial Adviser. Xinyi started her career with Deloitte where she was involved in the regulatory compliance advisory and financial audit of multinational companies in the insurance and investment management industry.
Xinyi graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) degree from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
Tan Su Ling
Manager - Corporate Finance
Su Ling has over 5 years of experience in the investment banking industry where she has advised on M&As, public listings, corporate advisory and fund raising exercises. Prior to joining Tata Capital Markets in 2015, she held positions at established institutions such as PrimePartners Corporate Finance and PricewaterhouseCoopers Australia. Su Ling had advised on the IPO / RTO of listed companies on the Catalist of the SGX, and had also successfully completed corporate advisory projects in the capacity of an Independent Financial Adviser to SGX-listed companies. Su Ling started her career with the deal advisory team of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Melbourne, Australia where she had primarily advised corporate and private equity clients on numerous buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements for domestic and cross-border transactions, in addition to business valuation engagements.
Su Ling graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Melbourne. She is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia (ICAA).
